State Secretary opens Roundhouse in the Eiffel
State Secretary Thomas Griese of the German department Rheinland Pfalz has officially opened the Roundhouse of the Kordell family on the 7th of April.
The Roundhouse building built by ID Agro in the Eiffel is part of a LEADER Project. The state secretary applauded the succesful project in which nature conservation was combined with the preservation of the cultural landscape and the creation of a touristic attraction. The state secretary cut the ribbon together with Leo, Sea and Kordel which marked the official opening of the barn building. The Kordel family will keep Glan cattle in their Roundhouse. An ancient German cattle breed which was traditionally kept in the Eiffel and which they are trying to preserve.
