First Cow Lounge in Denmark

The peninsula Jutland is now the location of the very first Cow Lounge in Denmark. The Dutch farmer Tom Scholtens - who became the somatic cell count champion of Denmark in 2009 - chose to build the innovative barn type for his 300 dairy cows. The Cow Lounge is characterised by its translucent roof which allows for a very bright interior even in the rather gloomy climate of Denmark.
