Delivered in 2017, this Cow Lounge is innovative in two ways: it combines the modular architecture and natural lighting of a Cow Lounge with a compost bedding. The large openings in the side walls are fitted with curtains and provide excellent cross ventilation. One of the domes is equipped with an adjustable Move Ridge which is controlled by a weather station. The building houses 150 dairy cows both in lactation, dry cows and calves. Currently, the barn is fitted with 2 milking robots but it has been designed so a 3rd robot can be accommodated in the future if necessary.
